After I became interested in gemstones and learned how to properly mount them, I found that real gemstones aren't expensive if bought in bulk. Jewelry stores often have a markup of up to 2000%. I decided to use my skills to make custom jewelry as pendants, earrings and matching sets.
All my gemstones are inexpensive and are all set in sterling silver. The lapis is deep blue lapis, not denim lapis which is lighter in color. The jade is light green and is real jadite, not the less expensive nephrite. The tiger's eye is specially cut to show the glint down the center.
I also have rock beads, African jasper, dalmation jasper, rose quartz, and tiger's eye, 4, 6, and 8mm on S/S French wires for dangles. Also available are garnet, citrine, amethyst, peridot, white and blue topaz faceted cut stones in S/S settings. There are also about a dozen cabuchons which have flat backs and rounded tops with post earrings to match from opal triplets to pyrite, a beautiful blue paua transluscent New Zealand sea shell and salmon coral earrings.
